FH “Sip & Stroll” with ACC Forester on Sunday, Nov. 16

Come hang with Mateo!

ACC Community Forester, Mateo Fennell, is leading a “Sip & Stroll” in Forest Heights on Sunday, November 16 at 12:30 p.m.

We'll meet in the island at the corner of Forest Heights Drive and Pine Forest, in front of 594 Forest Heights Drive. The idea is to bring neighbors together for a slow walking tour of common trees in the hood. Mateo will answer questions, such as how to assess risk, extend a tree’s lifespan, care for trees as bird habitats, and plan for new plantings.

Bring your own beverage of choice, or help yourself to a complimentary local kombucha or seltzer (provided by Mateo).

“Each walk is different depending on which trees we encounter and what questions come up,” he said. “So bring your curiosity.”

We’ll follow the route shown on the map below. If you have any questions, give Mateo a call at 706-521-1360.
