Thanks for your interest in the Newtown Community Blueberry Project!
Back in 2021, a group of Newtown residents planted three blueberry patches with the idea that anyone in the community was welcome to eat from them. The bushes are mature and producing now and there’s momentum (and funding!) to plant more.
The idea behind the project is to build community connections and shared resources. The project has been dormant the last few years, but there’s funding available to help get it underway again.
