We’re excited to announce the BikeAthens Blueberry Rally will again be the first event of the Forest Heights Blueberry Festival this year on Saturday, May 31.

This is the third year of the free event, which is primarily for kids under 12. (Older siblings, parents and other family members are encouraged to ride along.)

How to Participate

  • Be at the Holly Court festival site in Forest Heights at 9:30 a.m. ready to ride.

  • Riders will set off to gather as many rally points as possible in 30 minutes. (See the course map for preliminary rally points.)

  • Return to Holly Court for a brief awards ceremony at 10:15 a.m.

Bicycle and outdoor gear will be given as prizes to riders in each age category with the most points. (Must be present to win!)

After the rally, BikeAthens will remain at the festival providing bike tuneups and free gear.

What This Event Needs!

We want to give a big thanks to BikeAthens (especially executive director Scott Long) for their enthusiasm in bring this event back to the festival. However, to make it a success, we need at least seven volunteers to tend rally points and help create a safe environment.

If you’re willing to help out with this and/or other volunteer needs during the festival, please add your name and contact info to one of the slots on the volunteer spreadsheet, or contact Scott at BikeAthensShop@gmail.com.
