Flash to Bang Time Headlines 2026 Blueberry Jam

Normaltown Sound Machine closed out last year’s Blueberry Jam.

UPDATE: The Blueberry Jam will happen rain or shine. We have a large tent to cover the stage and sound equipment and will delay or cancel only if severe weather or lightning arises. Bring umbrellas and pop-up tents and let’s just get a little wet, if we need to. The kids will love it!

The lineup for the 2026 Blueberry Jam is terrific! The outdoor concert is the final event of the Forest Heights Blueberry Festival on Saturday, May 30, and will be from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Holly Court in the back of Forest Heights.

The Blueberry Jam is a FREE, kid-friendly show. Amplification will not be too loud. Festival-goers are encouraged to walk to the show, if possible, and to bring chairs and/or blankets. If you must drive, do NOT park on Holly Court or Holly Lane. Instead, park on Rivermont, Ferncliff or Woodcrest (unless you need handicap access).

This Year’s Lineup (in order) Will Be…

Oldies But Goodies Ukulele Band

The Oldies But Goodies Ukulele Band plays enthusiastically for the joy of making music together. It’s probably the only band that requires everyone to have at least some gray hair!

Wet Meadows

Wet Meadows makes all kinds of folk-rock-adjacent music, unified by a single, strict requirement: the songs are about plants. It's Botanical Rock.

Pickled Holler

Pickled Holler, founded by husband and wife Matthew and Jessica Williams, is a family band that blends traditional sounds with jam nuances. Their music showcases rich harmonies, intricate dynamics, and heartfelt, life-affirming compositions.

Flash to Bang Time

Legendary Athens group with a new lineup playing a mesmerizing and unusual style of dexterous avant-pop.

DJ Zdog (of Booty Boyz) - spinning between acts

Dj Zdog is a member of the DJ trio, Booty Boyz. He's a Forest Heights resident who spins everything from dance classics to modern day hits.

Thank you to all the performers, who are donating their time and talents to the festival. Also to Forest Heights resident, Jeff Griggs, who will again be the concert emcee.

Vendors, Silent Auction & Merchandise

Oglethorpe Garage will be serving beer and wine again this year and we’ll have three food trucks providing dinner (Café Racer, Wing Kingh and Homey Made Taco Truck) as well as King of Pops serving up the sweet treats. As always, we ask that concert-goers help us out by sorting their trash, recyclables and compost into the appropriate bins.

During the concert, there will again be a silent auction of lightly used items. Contact Danielle Gillmer (daniellegillmer@gmail.com) if you or your business have items you’re willing to donate.

Also, don’t forget that festival merchandise is the main fundraiser for the Community Blueberry Project. This year we have a classy design by Blair Hanemayer of BH Designs. T-shirts, tank tops, hats, totes and bandanas will all be for sale at the merchandise tent. If you pre-ordered merchandise, it will be bagged and ready for you at the tent, as well.
