BikeAthens Festival Event Still Going Strong

The start of the 2025 rally!

The BikeAthens Blueberry Rally will mark the beginning of the Forest Heights Blueberry Festival on Saturday, May 30 , 2026, alongside the Blueberry Hill 5K and Fun Run.

This is the 4th year of the free event, which is primarily for kids under 12. (Older siblings, parents and other family members are welcome to ride along and provide guidance and encouragement.)

How to Participate

  • Be at the Holly Court festival site in Forest Heights at 9:15 a.m. ready to ride.

  • Riders will set off at 9:30 to gather as many rally points as possible in 30 minutes. (See the course map for preliminary rally points.)

  • Return to Holly Court for a brief awards ceremony at 10:15 a.m.

Bicycle and outdoor gear will be given as prizes to riders in different age categories with the most points. (Must be present to win!)

After the rally, BikeAthens will remain at the festival providing bike tuneups and other free gear.

We want to thank BikeAthens for their continuing enthusiasm in bringing this event to the festival. (Plus, a big welcome to BikeAthens executive director, Scott Long, who recently became a Forest Heights resident!!)

What This Event Needs!

To make the Rally a success, we need numerous volunteers to tend rally points and help create a safe environment.

If you’re willing to help out with this and/or other volunteer needs during the festival, please add your name and contact info to one of the slots on the volunteer spreadsheet.
