2026 Blueberry Festival Kickoff at Oglethorpe Garage – Thursday, May 21
The Forest Heights Blueberry Festival will kick off on Thursday, May 21 with a pre-festival event at Oglethorpe Garage (1560 Oglethorpe Ave.) from 6 - 8 p.m.
Come join the community (and Homy Made Taco Truck) for a preview of what festival day has in store and get $1 off drinks for volunteering to help! You can sign up here to volunteer on the day of the festival, or sign up at Oglethorpe Garage for a chance to win the door prize:

PLEASE NOTE: we will NOT be selling merchandise during the Kickoff Event this year. To be sure you get the hats, shirts, bandanas and tote bags you want, pre-order here by Monday, May 18.

Are You Registered to Participate on Festival Day?
The Blueberry Cook-off takes place from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on festival day. The only rule is that blueberries must be an ingredient in whatever you prepare. (But you also must register here for one of the 12 competitor slots!)
The Blueberry Hill 5k, Relay & Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:30 a.m. on the morning of the festival. There are numerous options for participating this year. But you must register in advance!
